THE HOME OF SWEET ROMANCE

Nowhere but the Savoy Ballroom in New York City:

Let’s go this Thursday!  My air-step is earth-bound, but we could listen to the bands and watch the people who can really dance.

Another treasure for sale on eBay, thanks to mdt141mike.

  1. These are great. I am especially intrigued by the poster announcing “the incomparable Bunny Berrigan.” Being incomparable didn’t guarantee that you got your name spelled correctly.

  2. I always thought it was a tribute to Bunny — one R just wouldn’t do — or the original artist had family in Ireland. . .

  3. Lovely, those are some imagination starters. And 4 bands on one night?! Wow! Ofcourse it’s not the same, but my swingdance DJ playlists have a very similar line-up. 🙂

  4. Any idea who won this? I lost at the last second 😦

  5. I have no idea (eBay doesn’t let such information out) but the winning buyer spent nearly a thousand dollars on these rare artifacts.
