I don’t usually see JAZZ LIVES as a place to promote myself, but I hope you’ll forgive me if I invite you to a Listening Session, a Musical Interlude, a Platter Party — whatever term you like — on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, from 7-8:30 PM.
Here’s the location — a place that should be both well-known and loved:

I look forward to meeting old friends and making new ones. Thanks to Loren Schoenberg for offering me this opportunity. And if you want to join the party via Facebook, just click here.
May your happiness increase!May your happiness increase!
Greetings Michael from Toronto
As usual , I am most impressed with what you both write and present for jazz lovers all over .
Not surprisingly , I am intrigued by your “Listening session “ and more specifically , what is involved . For example ,I assume , rightly or wrongly ,that this doesn’t involve live music , but perhaps watching and listening to you wonderful videos perhaps with some discussion led by you.
I look forward to hearing from you .

Always nice to hear from you (and Rochelle!): when Loren asked me to do this ninety-minute session, he didn’t set any rules . . . so at the moment all is mysterious yet all will be revealed. I think I might do mostly audio that the audience might not know, with a few videos mixed in for leavening. I will improvise — the spirit of the thing! Be well, Michael
